A Review of Shabbat 10b
What is the connection between Roman baths, demons, and Shabbat? At first glance it seems very little, but the Talmud Bavli, i.e., the Babylonian Talmud in Shabbat 10b provides us with an interesting connection between these three elements which service to highlight the special status of Shabbat as a sign between G-d and the children of Israel.

Rabbi Dr. Juan Marcos Bejarano Gutierrez is a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas where he earned a bachelor of science in electrical engineering. He has published various articles in HaLapid, The Journal for Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian Crypto-Jews, and Apuntes-Theological Reflections from a Hispanic-Latino Context.
